New Nikon Coolpix Concept

Over at the drawing boards at Nikon are a couple of concepts for the tried and true Coolpix series. The Neo Classic model looks to combine digital photography technology with old school camera aesthetics with its leather trim and silver polished body. Great for the retro lover in all of us. The Good Grip with its parallelogram shaped body, chrome center, and black trim brings in a classic futuristic look. The innovation with the Good Grip comes in the form of a new and improved user interface. For example instead of dimensions delivered to the user in pixels they will be delivered in cm or inches. Another speculated feature is the digital interface with analogue buttons (no more jog wheels) and big icons instead of multilevel nested menus. Keep your eye out for these revamps in the near future.
